About Merge PDF
Join several PDFs into one file, for example an application form with its supporting documents. The files are combined in your browser, so private documents are not sent to a server.
How to use this tool
- Choose two or more PDF files at once.
- Wait while the pages are copied into a single document.
- Your merged file downloads automatically as merged.pdf.
Good to know
- Files are merged in the order your browser provides them, which is usually the order shown in the file picker. To control it, rename the files 01, 02, 03 and select them again.
- You need at least two PDFs. Password-protected or damaged PDFs may fail to merge.
- Need only some pages from each file? Use Split PDF first, then merge the results.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the order of the merged PDF?
The merged file follows the order your browser lists the selected files, which is usually the order in the file picker. If it comes out wrong, rename the files with numbers (01, 02, 03) and merge again.
Is there a limit on the number of PDFs?
There is no fixed limit. The practical limit is the memory on your device and 100 MB per file.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your file is processed in your browser and its contents are not sent to DockFlip. The first time you use a tool, your browser may download the conversion library it needs from a public CDN (cdnjs or jsDelivr), but that download does not include your file.
Is DockFlip free?
Yes. There is no signup, no watermark and no cap on how many files you convert. The only limits are file size (100 MB per file) and what your device can handle in memory. Ads may be added later to cover running costs.
Why might a conversion fail?
The file may be damaged, in a format your browser cannot read, password-protected, or too large for your device’s memory. Try one file at a time, or a smaller file, and make sure you have a connection the first time so the converter can load.
