About Resize Image

Enter the width and height you need in pixels and download the resized image. This is useful for profile photos, form uploads, website images and anything with a size requirement. Resizing happens in your browser, so your images stay on your device.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose your images, or drop them onto the page.
  2. Enter the width and height in pixels. Leave Keep aspect ratio ticked to avoid stretching.
  3. Download the resized images.

Good to know

  • With Keep aspect ratio on, the image is scaled to fit inside the width and height you enter, so one side may end up smaller than the number you typed.
  • With it off, the image is stretched to exactly the size you enter.
  • PNG images stay PNG. Other formats are saved as JPG. Each side can be up to 12,000 pixels.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my image smaller than the size I typed?

When Keep aspect ratio is on, the image is fitted inside the box you entered without changing its proportions. Turn it off if you need the exact width and height.

Does resizing reduce file size?

Usually yes, because fewer pixels means less data. For more control over file size, combine resizing with Compress Image.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your file is processed in your browser and its contents are not sent to DockFlip. The first time you use a tool, your browser may download the conversion library it needs from a public CDN (cdnjs or jsDelivr), but that download does not include your file.

Is DockFlip free?

Yes. There is no signup, no watermark and no cap on how many files you convert. The only limits are file size (100 MB per file) and what your device can handle in memory. Ads may be added later to cover running costs.

Why might a conversion fail?

The file may be damaged, in a format your browser cannot read, password-protected, or too large for your device’s memory. Try one file at a time, or a smaller file, and make sure you have a connection the first time so the converter can load.
